This was a fab hotel and resort, you have so much you can do, but if you just want to relax then its brilliant 2, the food is great, we went in 2006 for our honeymoon, and are going back in october with our 2 children, hope its as great as before, I would give this hotel 5 stars.

The rooms was very clean, housekeeping did a great job. The hotel grounds were beautifully manicured. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to please the guests. The food was also great! We enjoyed snorkeling in the lagoon.We had a great time and would visit again.

There is only one word to rate this hotel, AMAZING!! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming. The memories of this holiday will be with for the rest of my life. This really is the best place in the world, HEAVEN!! No words could some up how amazing it is to be there, it will always be in my mind!! It is the best, if you are thinking of going, GO, you will regret it if you don't!!!!

The Catalonia was so much fun! The food was great, the rooms are beautiful and the staff was amazing. It is so close to the town, Puerto Aventuras that you can go and visit this cute town. During the day, there are dolphins there that you can swim with. The hotel allowed you feel like you were part of Mexico and it was so vibrant and colorful. I definitely recommend this hotel for any age!

I just got back from 7-night stay in the Catatonia, April 29 – May 5. If you want to feel like you are in Mexico on vacation, then you have to stay here! The resort was immaculate and the staff was constantly working to keep it that way. The resort is just adorable. Grounds are immaculate with workers always cleaning and trimmed the trees and bushes. I can't really put into words how beautiful and relaxing it was at the Catatonia.
