We just returned from our 2nd vacation at this resort and still would recommend it to others. We had a fantastic time! Our rooms were by the lagoon pool that we frequented all day long in the hot tropical sun. There are plenty of loungers and cabanas, so no need to worry about that, as is the case at other resorts. The rooms itself are slightly dated, but not a huge deal. The lunches and dinners are very good - thoroughly enjoyed Agave, Spice, Toscano\'s, Oregano\'s and the Lobster House. If you enjoy the luxuries of the spa - they do heavenly treatments. They also have a large fitness club now vs. the last time we were there. Beautiful botanical gardens, flamingos, peacocks, parrots and geese all on grounds as well. Relax and enjoy your time away!

We really enjoyed Excellence. I enjoy Cerveza\'s, and their selection was much more varied than Paradisus. We really liked the intimacy of the resort compared to the Paradisus, and just felt more relaxed the entire time. The service was great, and the food very, we loved having the wireless internet in the room. Overall a great trip, definitely in our top 2, and would recommend and certainly consider going back or visiting other Excellence properties. The lobster, and the Mexican were spectacular. We enjoyed the spa as well.

My husband and I went on our honeymoon at the Excellence Punta Cana and just loved it. Staff was friendly, kind, and helpful...they took great care of us. We had a great room which was one of the cheapest room avaiable and wouldnt have booked anything different. The beach was beautiful- each night we would walk the beach and be alone and soo quiet and romantic. Food was very very good. We tried 4 resturants and stuck with one Toscana which was American cuisine. My husband has a weak and picky stomach and had no problems with food or water on this trip. If relaxing in a pool, by the ocean, in a hammock outside your bedroom door, ealking beautiful grounds, and having that special time together is what your looking for pick Excellence Punta Cana. I couldnt dream of a more perfect honeymoon plus we scored some herbal satisfaction!!!!!
